In 2011 and 1984, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame. Diamond is known for its humor as well. Will Ferrell parodied him on SNL and enjoyed the spoof he starred in the comedian’s final May 2002 broadcast alongside Ferrell.
