Another Lion Enters
I noticed movement out of the corner of my eye. Unexpectedly, another lion came up and settled down a short distance away. It appeared disinterested, perhaps even at ease. What is this person doing? My spouse asked out loud. We were somewhat reassured by the second lion’s uninterested attitude, but the anxiety was still there. Jake was unconcerned and continued to concentrate on the lioness. “He has steely nerves,” someone said behind me.
