Minotaur
In Greek mythology, the Minotaur was the son of the Goddess of Crete. The sea bull, a powerful beast, was another name for the creature. The creature appeared to be humanoid with a bull’s head. King Minos was afraid of his life’s existence because he had a complex maze called a labyrinth. It was intended to keep him incarcerated.
Aqrabuamelu
The Aqrabuamelu was a hideous creature that was described in Babylonian mythology in ancient Mesopotamia. The creature looked like a mix of a scorpion and a man. It had the body of a scorpion but a human face, head, and torso. Despite their hideous appearance, the Aqrabuamelu was created to challenge the Gods. Aqrabuamelu, according to legend, acted as a protector to alert travelers.
