The species was also known as South American camelids due to their appearance and scale. Huarizo was a llama’s height. According to the University of Minnesota Rochester, the creature was often thought to be sterile, but it could be retained with a minor genetic change.

Polecat–mink

Polecat-mink was a combination between a polecat and a mink from Europe. Furriers gave the hybrid the name Khor-tumak, while fanciers gave it the name khonorik. It was difficult to breed this hybrid since the European mink population was declining. The hybrid had yellow paws, gray-yellow underfur, a face mask, and long, dark brown guard hair.
