Boston Market

The Boston Market had over 1,100 locations across the U.S. in the 1990s. Fast forward to today, and the brand only has 400 stores remaining. Their prominence came from their rotisserie of chicken, with customers excited about the idea of not trying to prepare a whole chicken at home. But their claim to fame is now the reason for the absence of customers. It was an easy process to repeat, and most grocery stores offer roasted chickens for a fraction of the cost.

Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen is the only place you can discover upside-down ice cream…cue the watering mouths! The chain started in 1940, and their gravity-defying blizzards have also been running fine since then! The bad comes with the good, however. Consumers complain that their ice cream is not real, that it tastes like both plastic and oil, and it melts too fast. Dairy Queen also serves food, but the reviews for that are not too great either.
