Grammy award-winning rapper and record producer Tyler has worked as both a solo artist and as a part of the collective, Odd Future. Additionally, he has founded a clothing company and created many television shows. Tyler is completely sober- having never drank and been high twice in his life. Tyler isn’t a recovering addict, he just merely chose to steer clear of mind-altering substances from the beginning.

Gene Simmons
Israeli-American musician, singer-songwriter Simmons is the bassist and co-lead of the rock-band Kiss. He co-founded the band in the 1970s and in a 2016 interview opened up about why he has lived a clean lifestyle, which involves having never been drunk or high. The reason is because he doesn’t want to hurt his mother more than she has already experienced as a Jewish person who went through the Holocaust. Furthermore, he also doesn’t necessarily enjoy the taste or the smell of alcohol, only taking small amounts for social reasons, like toasts.
