It did not take a long time before the post received 10,000 shares and thousands of Reddit comments. Everyone appeared appalled by what she said. A number of commenters bashed her for “body shaming” the guests. They also called her “self-centered”. A couple of people also pointed out just how weird the colors she picked out were.

In a way, it makes sense that her friends would have plenty of things to say about her guidelines for the dress code. Assuming the destination wedding was still going to happen, one user was kind enough to show everyone what one of the outfits would look like. No one was thrilled about it.

We cannot really blame them, can we? The colors did not only seem expensive, but the clothing was also very weird. There was also the fact that the wedding was going to be in Hawaii. We all know that the tropical paradise is normally very warm. It would be a nightmare to wear corduroy pants and a velvet sweater there!
