The post started out innocently enough. The bride decided to begin it with a greeting for the wedding guests. She asked them, “Who’s ready for Hawaii 2019?” After that, she told them that she had an important matter to discuss with them even if the wedding was still a year and a half year away. Of course, she wanted to discuss the dress code with them.

She then went on to say that the reason she was talking about it this far in advance was so that they would have sufficient time to “find and pick out something nice.” She also explained that she was giving out such a specific dress code in order to create an “incredible visual effect” for the “synchronized dance” that was happening during the reception after the vows.

Even the children who were going to be at the wedding did not get a free pass! It was already strange to have such a specific dress code for the wedding guests. However, it was another story to base it on how much they weighed!
